General objectives
Students will learn the tenses used for the recent past and also to differentiate between actions and descriptions in the basic form of each tense.

- Expressing actions that occurred in the recent past
- Talking about personal experiences that happened in the past
- Describing places, people and things in the past
- Talking about every day activities in the past
- Comparing the past with the present
Structures
- Present Perfect Tense, regular and irregular participles
- Constructions with the verbs, “to be”, “to have” + participle
- Adverbs of time
- Relative sentences
- Contrasts between Present and Perfect Tenses
- Revision: clothes, furniture, family, animals, adjectives, colours, TV programmes, hobbies...

- Comparing photos from different times
